ZVEI – Fewer new orders for the German electrical and digital industries

At the beginning of the second half of 2023, the German electrical and digital industry had to accept a double-digit decline in orders: nominal orders in July were 17.4 percent below their previous year’s value. 

 

 

Orders from domestic (-17.8%) and from abroad (-17.1%) fell by the same amount.
