ZVEI – Avoiding conflicting objectives in the circular economy: ZVEI sees both positive and negative aspects in the NKWS action program.

Christian Eckert, Head of Sustainability and Environment at the German Electrical and Electronic Manufacturers’ Association (ZVEI), views the action program for the National Circular Economy Strategy (NKWS), adopted today by the Federal Cabinet, as ambivalent. 

On the one hand, the goals are to be supported, but on the other hand, the specific measures could be counterproductive in some areas.
