European Fire Safety Alliance – European smoke alarm campaign 2026 – Turning awareness into Action

EuroFSA is preparing to launch its 2026 European Smoke Alarm Day campaign, bringing together governments, fire services, consumer organisations and industry partners to promote the life-saving importance of working smoke alarms in every home.

Running from late October until the end of December, the campaign will encourage more European countries to introduce effective smoke alarm requirements, support fire services in delivering public-awareness campaigns and home fire safety checks, and provide householders with practical guidance on selecting, installing, testing and maintaining smoke alarms.
