Danfoss – Danfoss Power Solutions awarded £4.9 million grant to accelerate decarbonization of excavators

• Grant from U.K. Government’s Red Diesel Replacement Phase 2 Competition will be used to validate Danfoss’ Dextreme Max system in 30-ton electric excavator
• Dextreme Max is expected to generate 50% energy savings, mitigating obstacles to electrification of large machinery
