ARE Oy – ARE completed the energy renovation – the housing company’s goals were achieved through good cooperation

A Jyväskylä-based housing company aimed to reduce energy consumption and increase renewable energy self-sufficiency in its two apartment buildings, totaling 160 apartments. 

The goal was to completely abandon district heating and produce the buildings’ heating and hot water mainly with its own energy system. The energy renovation that had been initiated took a real turn when the contractor responsible for the project went bankrupt.
