ABB – ABB Ethernet-APL technology to support future autonomous operations at Chinese chemical facility

• ABB selected as strategic partner for intelligent chemical production facility in Zhangzhou, Fujian province, China
• Facility is one of the largest Ethernet-APL field network deployments undertaken by a Chinese domestic chemical enterprise

ABB has been selected by Longxiang Hengyu Chemical Co., Ltd. to provide automation and digital solutions for its oxo-alcohol integrated facility in Zhangzhou, Fujian province in south east China. The project represents one of the largest Ethernet-APL (advanced physical layer) field network deployments by a Chinese chemical enterprise to date.
