ZVEI – German electrical and digital industry: incoming orders remain weak

In November 2024, incoming orders in the German electrical and digital industries fell just 0.7 percent short of the previous year’s figure. 

While domestic orders in November were 9.8 percent lower than in the previous year, foreign orders increased by 7.8 percent. Customers from the eurozone ordered 4.8 percent less. In contrast, orders from business partners outside the common currency area increased by 15.1 percent.
