ZVEI – Daniel Hager nominated as ZVEI President-elect

ZVEI - Germany’s Electrical Industry

The ZVEI Board of Directors today nominated Daniel Hager (53), Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Hager Group, as ZVEI President-elect. 

 

He is to be elected in accordance with the statutes and the rotation schedule at the General Meeting on May 20, 2026, and will succeed ZVEI President Dr. Gunther Kegel, who has held the office since 2020.

 

Daniel Hager has been involved with the German Electrical and Digital Industry Association for over 15 years, currently serving on the Executive Board and as Chairman of the Platform Buildings. Previously, he was Chairman of the Electrical Installation Systems Association, of which he remains a member. Daniel Hager sees the continued electrification and digitalization of Germany, the success of the energy transition, and the strengthening of networking and cooperation within the association at the European level as his top priorities.
