Sonepar – Jérôme Baniol appointed Sonepar Chief Financial Officer
As of September 1st, 2025, Jérôme Baniol is appointed Sonepar Chief Financial Officer, Following an in-depth transition period with Andros Neocleous.

His extensive international experience and extensive knowledge of the electrical distribution market will allow Jerome to support and accelerate Sonepar’s strategy and financial performance” said Philippe Delpech, President and CEO
Jérôme began his career in the steel and plastic B-to-B distribution at PUM in France.
He then joined Deloitte as a Senior Manager. Following this, he held several senior financial executive roles, including Finance Director at Guilbert Office Depot in the UK, Group Controlling Director and CFO for France and Southern Europe at Rexel, and Group CFO at Vivarte, a large European apparel and footwear retail group.
In 2015, Jerome joined Sonepar as the APAC SVP Finance, based in Hong Kong. By 2019, he had moved to the US to become the SVP Finance for the North America Region. In January 2025 he is appointed Sonepar Deputy Chief Financial Officer. As of September 1st, he is Sonepar Chief Financial Officer, member of the Executive Committee.
Jérome Baniol graduated from NEOMA Business School in 1993 and INSEAD in 2016.
