Siemens – AcegasApsAmga leverages Siemens’ Gridscale X to build digital twin of Trieste’s energy grid

  • Italian distribution system operator (DSO), AcegasApsAmga, will use Siemens’ software to develop a digital twin of its medium and low voltage grid
  • Siemens’ software will help AcegasApsAmga to accelerate the decarbonization of the city of Trieste, including the electrification of its congested port
  • Gridscale X technology enables grid operators to reduce emissions while keeping the grid stable and secure

 

Siemens Smart Infrastructure continues to strengthen its partnership with Italian DSO, AcegasApsAmga, announcing the commencement of a project, utilizing Siemens’ Gridscale X technology to enable full situational awareness of the power grid of the Municipality of Trieste in Italy.
