LAPP – Preliminary figures for fiscal year 2025
LAPP growing primarily in Asia
Stuttgart, October 21, 2025 – The LAPP Group is fighting its way back into growth territory: According to preliminary figures for the 2025 fiscal year (October 1, 2024 – September 30, 2025), the global market leader for integrated solutions in the field of cable and connection technology achieved sales of over €1.9 billion (2024 fiscal year: €1.8 billion). Despite challenges in its home market, the family-owned company thus returns to its 2023 sales level.
The connectivity solutions specialist continues its strong growth trend in Asia, particularly in countries such as India, China, and South Korea: The region is becoming increasingly important for the Stuttgart-based company. Europe remains responsible for the majority of LAPP’s global sales. However, rising costs and the weak economy are weighing on business here. On the American continent, LAPP is bucking the trend of tariff policy uncertainties with solid growth.
Matthias Lapp, CEO LAPP Group, says: “We have been focusing on consistent internationalization for decades. This strategy is paying off, especially in times of geopolitical tension. We see great potential for our products and solutions, particularly in Latin America and Asia: This is also reflected in our acquisitions in China and Brazil in recent months.” The family entrepreneur is more cautious about the domestic market: “In Europe, we have stabilized at a weak level after sales losses in the previous year. However, in Germany in particular, we need to work on costs, processes, and structures to remain competitive.”
Matthias Lapp is cautiously optimistic about the current 2026 fiscal year:
“We expect to continue our growth in Asia and on the American continent. The situation in Germany and Europe remains challenging. From a global perspective, we as LAPP Group are in an excellent position. More energy, more data, more connections: our customers are in future-oriented industries such as renewable energies, battery storage systems, data centres, and intralogistics. These are increasingly contributing to our sales.”
As of September 30, 2025, the LAPP Group employs around 5,700 people worldwide.
