Gira appoints Hanno Froese as additional Managing Director.

 

Radevormwald, January 7, 2026. Effective January 1, 2026, the shareholders of building technology specialist and smart building pioneer Gira (www.gira.de), based in Radevormwald, have appointed Hanno Froese to the management board of the family-owned company. The 51-year-old will be responsible for the production and logistics, purchasing, planning and scheduling, and supply chain divisions at the internationally active, medium-sized technology company. The industrial engineer joins Gira in the Bergisches Land region from ebm-papst Landshut GmbH, where he most recently served as Vice President Operations and Integrated Supply Chain, overseeing all manufacturing and supply chain management for the global heating technology division. Together with the existing managing directors Christian Feltgen (Development and Product Management), Dominik Marte (Marketing and Sales), and Sebastian Marz (IT and Organization, Finance and Controlling, Human Resources), Hanno Froese forms the new leadership team of the building technology specialist.

Hanno Froese’s resume includes long-term positions as plant manager and managing director at Hilti AG, Jungheinrich AG, and the Swisspearl Group, before he assumed overall responsibility for six international plants at ebm-papst in July 2023.
