Gira Reduces Carbon Footprint in Shipping and Packaging

Radevormwald, August 29, 2025. Building technology specialist and smart building pioneer Gira (www.gira.de) ships around 200,000 parcels annually from its headquarters in Radevormwald to supply its products to specialist customers in over 40 countries, primarily in Europe. Annual freight totals a good four million kilograms. Approximately 75 percent of this is transported overland by truck – since July, nearly 60 percent of which has been climate-neutral.
