Europacable – Europacable welcomes the proposed inclusion of power cables in the CBAM

This inclusion is a significant milestone for Europe’s cable industry. 

Today, the European Commission unveiled the proposal to include power cables and wires containing steel and/or aluminium in the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM), effective from 2028.
