Assemblin Caverion Group – Agreement between Fingrid and Caverion extended to cover a new transmission line project

Finland’s transmission system operator Fingrid Oyj and Caverion have signed an agreement worth approximately SEK 214 million (EUR 20 million) for a new transmission line project in Western Finland. 

Caverion will build 400/110 kV power line with a total length of 83 kilometers and 237 steel columns. The agreement is an addition to the previously announced Kukonkylä-Ullava transmission line project. 

This new power line project strengthens the transmission capacity of Fingrid’s transmission grid and enables efficient electricity transmission from Sweden and Northern Finland to Southern Finland.
