Nestor Cables – Aki Eklund 1972-2026 – Visionary and esteemed colleague

Aki Eklund, co-owner and Chief Operating Officer of our company, passed away unexpectedly on June 8, 2026. 

Aki was one of Nestor’s founding members and a key driving force in developing our operations from the very beginning, since 2007. His more than 25 years of experience in the cable industry showed every day in his ability to lead the business and make decisions we could rely on.
