Danfoss – Marie Hammer of Danfoss to lead European VSD group for energy efficiency

BRUSSELS, BELGIUM – Danfoss is pleased to announce that its Director of Industry Affairs, Marie Hammer, has been elected President of the Variable Speed Drives (VSD) Group and a member of the CEMEP Presidential Board. 

She will succeed Janne Kuivalainen. 

This appointment comes as Europe faces a critical inflection point. With motor-driven systems accounting for 70% of all industrial electricity use, they represent one of the most significant levers for boosting competitiveness, securing energy independence, and accelerating decarbonization.
