ZVEI – Digital Omnibus: 30 industry associations demand effective simplification instead of a hasty decision from the EU Council

The German Electrical and Electronic Manufacturers’ Association (ZVEI), together with other European industry associations, has addressed an open letter to the EU Council under the leadership of Digital Europe. 

In it, the 30 industry associations urge that the Digital Omnibus be used primarily as an opportunity for necessary simplifications of digital legislation. ZVEI Managing Director Sarah Bäumchen warns against member states rushing their deliberations.
