- Siemens Energy is scaling up its U.S. production for grid and gas turbine equipment to support strong growth in the U.S. market
- The investments announced total $1 billion; Siemens Energy will create more than 1,500 highly skilled jobs in the U.S.
- As part of the workforce increase, Siemens Energy will also expand its apprenticeship program and promote training throughout the energy Industry
- Expansions are planned across North Carolina, Alabama, New York, Texas and Florida; in addition, a new switchgear plant will be built in Mississippi
