CHINT – CHINT delivers critical power transformers for ARUBA’s IT3 data center expansion in Italy

CHINT has successfully supplied and commissioned two 132/15 kV 60 MVA ONAN oil-immersed power transformers for ARUBA’s IT3 Global Cloud Data Center in Ponte San Pietro, Italy. 

This strategic infrastructure enhancement supports one of Italy’s largest data centers, spanning 200,000 square meters with multiple security perimeters and 24/7 armed protection.

The transformers form the backbone of the facility’s 132/15 kV substation, connecting to the high-voltage grid and feeding into the medium-voltage network. Designed for outdoor installation and natural air cooling, these units ensure efficient and stable power distribution for the data center’s critical operations.
