Schneider Electric – Schneider Electric appoints Esther Finidori as Chief Sustainability Officer
Schneider Electric, the leader in the digital transformation of energy management and automation, has appointed Esther Finidori as its new Chief Sustainability Officer, starting from 1 June 2025.
Esther will be joining the Executive Committee, with a mission to effectively develop and deploy the new sustainability strategy of the company, reinforcing its business relevance and leadership on innovative social and environmental practices.
She brings a wealth of experience and a strong track record in sustainability and strategic leadership to her new role. Previously at Schneider Electric, she held the position of France Operations Strategy VP, where she drove influence, commercial strategy, sales excellence, and circular economy initiatives. She also served in various sustainability roles, including Group Environment VP, where she played an instrumental role in shaping and executing the company’s environmental initiatives, solidifying its position as a recognized sustainability leader.
Before joining Schneider Electric in 2016, she worked as an environmental consultant, specializing in climate change and energy transition.
She holds a Master of Science in Engineering from Ecole Centrale Paris and a Master of Philosophy in Technology Policy from the Judge Business School of Cambridge University.
